Panchayat polls : PDP hints at going NC way | KNO

Srinagar,06 SEPT (KNO) :   Day after National Conference patron Farooq Abdullah announced his party’s decision of staying away from the upcoming local bodies and panchayat polls, the PDP today hinted at following the suit.

“JKPDP also likely to stay away from Panchayat polls, local bodies polls in JK. The party demands Central government should clear the fears over article 35 A.

Final call on participation only after mass consultation with the people,” PDP chief spokesman Rafi Ahmed Mir wrote on his twitter handle. A source said that there are full chances that PDP is likely to follow NC over ULB and Panchayat polls.
